My mother who is a wonderful cook has been my inspiration in life.
After working as a research scientist and running my own floristry business for fifteen years,
re-entered education and qualified as a chef in 1994. For my work experience I was very fortunate to work at the world famous Taj Hotel, Mumbai India. Working along side some of the most famous and experienced chef’s in India, I gained valuable knowledge and experience of the various cuisines of India.
Moved to Norfolk in 1999, I started teaching Indian Cookery from home, which was very successful and through word and mouth grew in popularity.
In 2006, I established “Ethnic Fusion” my own catering company. I have introduced my food to the public through the Norfolk and Suffolk Farmers Markets, which has given me a strong customer base. Specialising in catering for private dinner parties and family functions. I like to create recipes combining different flavours, using freshly ground spices and ingredients for maximum flavour. |
